Ever feel like hitting a cinder block head on with your bike?

it sure was amazing, 101 in the dark around 530 am... my lights were working fone... then all the sudden i see this light colored object i was hoping to be a chunk of foam....
BAM!
flat... kaput.....
bike kind of went, wubba wubba wubba.... clunk clunk clunk to a stop in the center divider.
called 911 for assistance, the chp officer who slowed traffic to allow me to idle my bike over tothe right side said "i dind't see nothin there"....
I said "well, when i hit it it exploded to a bazillion pieces"....
He said "today's your lucky day and Im glad I dont have to clean you off the road".
I said "thanks for your help!"
I should have bought a lottery ticket this day.
thank god people crash though, i called fremont cycle salvage and they had the wheel i needed at the price i wanted. amen!

I should take a picture of a wheel in my garage. Friend ran wide on the first post 25 mph sign just south of the heli pad on 25.
Into the ditch and a huge piece of concrete that was there for some reason.
complete stoppie, bike flipped, tail landed on shoulder, snapped collarbone, kickstand mount went into engine, front wheel looks like it had been splayed open like a taco.
still hanging in my garage today.
