Ever crashed? I have two questions...

Most riders are aware that they "prefer" or "favor" right-hand turns over left hand turns, or vice-versa.

That being said, the questions are:

1) Which do you prefer, or favor--rights or lefts?

2) Thinking back to on-track crashes you've had in the past, were they mostly rights, lefts, or roughly 50/50?

I like left turns better because of throttle hand position.

Crashed in left's 2 to 1...but I don't think there is a relationship in my case.

Feel more comfortable left. Crashes 3 to 0, all right hand turns. Feel better under breaking to left

Yo yo yo
Prefer lefts, crashed goin right three times... though one was on the street and it was due to gravel and riding outside my limit.

What the shit is this...
3 crashes to the left, 0 to the right.

Still prefer left handers. Go fuckin figure. I just feel more confident.

I'm scareoused!
I can't say I favor one side over the other, but I can say that most of northern CA's best track turns are left handers, so I tend to see my best leans on those corners.

I have one crash in a left hander (wrote a check I couldn't cash) and two in right handers (too fast for conditions [lots of noobs on track] and engine sieze.)

during my 8-yr. career in the AFM in the 70's/80's, I bailed 3 times. All at the "old" Sears Point, all right handers: Turns 3A, 7, 11. The 7/11 "hairpin" bails were lightweight low-sides from overloading/over pushing the front tire; the 3A career-ending bail was a high-speed "tumbler" that broke at least 4 bones & totaled bike.

I always liked right-handers more (I think) because of the road "crown," thus the road was always banked the "right-way" for right handers, where it made lefties "off-camber." Thus, I always pushed harder in rights than lefts.

Also have at least 3 twisty bails in right handers so maybe I should start liking lefties more? ::laughing

Love the lefty's. crashed twice on street, both on the right side. I'm not gonna tell you how much I crashed on the dirt:x

I don't discriminate and crash equally on either side :thumbup. My favorite turn was right handed T10 at Infineon before they pussified it with the chicane.

Rights are better for me.
2 1st few turns cold-tire low sides to the right (i thill, 1 sears)
1 major crash to the left (thill turn 10)
