Even Motorcyclist Magazine Staffers are Bicycle Lane Evading Squids?

I was watching this video of Zack and Ari from Motorcyclist Magazine riding scooters in San Francisco and at 1:16 we see one of the riders using the dedicated bicycle lane to pass cars on Embarcadero for what looks to be about a city block. Which of course made me flashback to the recent threads on not riding in the bicycle lanes.

What is even funner, is on second viewing the cars were not even tight enough to have blocked the riders from lane sharing so why use the bicycle lane?

So yes, bicycle lane use Motorcyclist Magazine approved?:teeth

I'll ride in the goddamn bicycle lane if I please. Traffic laws are there for people who can't/won't be situationally aware.

If one chooses to break the law they must accept the consequences.

Aren't scooters allowed in the bike lanes? I can't recall seeing a scooter in SF that didn't ride in the bike lanes.

not to mention the ones who ride the wrong way down the street or along the sidewalk, weaving through peds, because they're too lazy to go one block down in order to go with the flow of traffic.

I do it on Valencia sometimes when riding the 13mph green wave because cars don't understand it and threaten me with honks and unsafe passing for going 13mph in the lane. So if there's no bicycles I just will stay in the bike lane and let them speed up to the next red light

you ride 13 mph, just because you figured out that they go green, and you can cruise along without stopping? :wtf

that shit is ok along Great Highway because the speed limit is 35 mph. doin that on Valencia is a dick move:thumbdown
