It's that time of year again...time for our Engine Rebuild Workshop!
We hold this about 3 times per year. These little EX250 engines have been rebuilt over and over and over and over, and we always make sure they still start at the end of the class!
Working in a small team of 3 people, you will tear down and rebuild a Ninja 250 engine over a weekend, and at the end of Sunday you will put it on a stand and start it up.
Each team will spend Sat completely disassembling the engine (head, pistons, cylinder, transmission, clutch, crankshaft, main bearings, etc). Tolerances will be checked, bearings inspected, etc, etc - then the engine will be assembled on Sunday. Valves will be adjusted, compression/leak-down tests made, followed by installation onto our bench stand where it will be fired up to prove your success!
