This is a good meme, a solid joke, but this is not the production model...no way in hell

Does the F350 do a 10 second quarter mile and sub 3s 0-60?

ummm it's a truck, it doesn't have to be fast... I'll have you know the new 5.0 F150 does 0-60 in 5.5s and the quarter mile in 14s @ 103mph...

That's just a side-effect of having a good motor.

But really trucks don't have to be fast. They are made for hauling shit. I don't see anywhere for a contractor to put their lumber racks. Can you bolt into the bed? Elon bragged some bs about the strength of his steel.

Lol wow, it's like an IRL Warthog from Halo. Bullet proof body panels, ballistic glass. I mean, it's so ridiculous I kinda like it.

Thought it was a joke until I just watched it on YouTube. Might still be a joke, I'll believe it when I see one rolling down the highway.
Dude is weird but he catches everyone's attention like no other CEO.

Yeah but Elon could have released a Model 3 Ute and people would have been all over it. It doesn't take whatever the hell he revealed above to make people pay attention to Tesla...

I don't think it's a joke at all. One of the reasons Tesla is able to get the range that they do is because their car designs are aerodynamic. Normally Tesla does this by making their vehicles rounded off and pretty, but Trucks culture is very macho, with huge chromed grills that are completely antithetical to aerodynamic design. Tesla needed to cover the bed. They needed to make it essentially a teardrop design. With this they were able to sneak a design that actually ought to be quite aerodynamic but will appeal in a blade runner, retro-futurist way.
