dyna jet and the 2000 R1???

I have a dyna jet jet kit and I have tried about 30 different cominations and it still sputters at 11,000 rpm....please tell me there is some one else out there having these problems! I have also tried many other style jets also....stock 130, 132.5, anf 135. With the "dyna jet" jets I have tried 132, 134, 136, and 138. There all having problems!

send in help before I go out and buy a really special gun to go postal on my R1. Its totally possible I am over looking something really simple!

Use only as directed
Have you adjusted the needle height as well? at 11,000 RPMs, I'd imagine that your R1's slides are wide open (almost entirely main jet circuit) or damn near it (end of needle circuit and start of the main circuit).

Also, is there a possibility you may have knocked your float height(s) out of whack? If your floats are out of adjustment, you could be sucking more gas than the float bowls can hold at 11,000 RPMs, and that wouldn't change no matter what jets and needles you used.

Just some random thoughts . . .

I have tired everything the instructions have asked. I have since then, tried ripping all the dyna jet shit out and 25 thou shiming the stock needle and running mikuni mains...as I said before...the 132.5 and the 135's with all the stock R1 stuff in there. The Dyna jet tech suppourt has been very useless to say the least. They have told me that I should just follow the directions. I should just take this whole dam engine apart and get those 12.5:1 compression pistons and redo a bunch of crazy shit. Why not?

All I can say is...

GET IVAN'S NEEDLES!

They absolutely blow away any other jet kit, esp. since they were designed for the R1 in the first place. Try them, you can't go wrong.

Plus, Ivan is a very knowledgeable guy and will talk your ear off over the phone, in true "NYC" style... :D

where do I find these Ivans needles. I have heard of them but, I have never seen them for sale. Will this be a jet kit or just a set of needles? I have a k&n filter and also a leo vinci high pipe.

I would really like to get a lot more insane on this engine but no time to talk about it right now.
