Except for having to mod me pick-up coil cover, it was a breeze. There are only 6 wires and instructions are idiot proof (evidenced by the fact my bike started after install). For the same price as a stock unit (300 clams) I get 5 advance cures, 4 retard modes and 8.5k to 16k rev limiter.

How do you like the bike's performance now? I'm on the fence regarding an advancer or not, most likely if do get one will be a fixed rate one. this mod is supposed to be for crisper throttle and low-mid gains but with the gas we have in Cali. + hi-compression engines I'd be afraid of detontating at high rpm's (not like I'm up there alot or even on the bike yet). and who can feel knocks up there till it's too late? just wondering... (where my can is :p )

After work I'll give it a good run and see whats what. I've got a Muzzy's adjustable advancer that I don't need anymore. If you want it you can buy my advancer for $30, it cost me $80 and it's still in perfect condition, about 1.5k on it.
