I've been seeing an old Ducati 888 with the #1 plate cruising the South Bay lately. Looks and sounds nice! Brings back memories:thumbup

There are a few of them around. I've seen maybe half a dozen in the Bay Area. Beautiful bikes and they sound so good. :cool

That's a decent price for one, if there is nothing messed up on it.
It looks like the 888 held its value a bit better than the 916. I guess being a bit rare is worth something after all.

Best sounding Duc ever!
Watching the 888 superbike at Laguna you could feel the exhaust pulses in your chest,wonderful!
