found was getting really stressed thinking about the trip in advance, ‘til I came up with the just-drift-that-general-direction-see-how-far-you-get frame of reference ... guess Mr Buchanan’s Sweet Dreams wound up being the go-to music playing in your head this trip ... sometimes it’s opera, I’ve posted this vid before but it’s good drifting Moto-music also:

our scrubbed 2018 plan to visit Catavina and points west with you all had the silver lining of being the foundation for this year’s trip for me ... maybe we’ll all make it in 2020 ... :thumbup:angel

I’m home now, did the over 900 mile ride home in two pulls, 13 hours on Saturday and 10 hours on Sunday on a used $2k 2000 KLR ... try that on a late model KTM 350 ... :toothless

there is one DR 650 on this year’s BARF Baja, and Mark’s sweet XR-L, and maybe an XR-R, but many of the BARF Baja regulars have migrated to 450cc and smaller Euro plated dirt bikes ... proud of them all for finding and exploring a lot of the epic central Baja single-track ... try that with a KLR ... :ride
