Do You Ever Have Self-Induced Breaks from BARF?

Back For More
When I can't ride, I feel like a motorcycle imposter, somebody who isn't part of the club. When this happens, I hardly ever post on BARF. It's like reading running magazines when I'm injured. Can't do it. After six years of title limbo, my bike is now finally legal and I'm having a great summer of riding. And posting on BARF again for the first time in years.

So, my question is, does this happen to you? Is there anything besides the ban hammer that occasionally keeps you off of BARF? Oh, and what happened to Shotline? I kinda miss his cantankerousness. :party

Be Here Now
Yes.

When I feel I'm more worried about the drama of Dubs dating life or how much of a noob someone is then about the ride itself, it's time for a break.

Useful idiot
I have taken the occasional week off when I start taking BARF too seriously. Fortunately, this doesn't happen too often.

Today is my 11th "barfday".... Can't really think of any extended periods without at least checking something on it.

Is right behind you
Took a mandatory break for a while. Missed it.

Take a break every now and again when I feel my blood pressure rising as I am posting while gritting my teeth.

Agent Orange

The b0y ninja
I gotta say, since I've been here in 2002 it's the only forum or form of social media (if you wanna call it that) that I've never had any desire to leave.

I've taken self-imposed breaks when I've felt they were necessary. I've had to permanently remove myself from a couple sub-forums on BARF as well.

Aut Agere Aut Mori
Every now and again when I feel like the trolls are taking over I leave until the next time I feel that way. Sadly those instances seem to be getting closer together.
