I always believed we did, but now after my coworker told me that he doesn’t believe that we landed on the moon, and presented some info to me, I have a little doubt.

We're in the era of legitimizing and empowering everyone's inner idiot. It's nice to know who's who, but the world is better off when people keep their garbage to themselves.

There are ppl who were hired to build model replicas of moon/Mars back in the day that are coming forward no???

I dunno, this ???? Is beyond my time on Earth, I'm more faced with Bob Lazar crazy shenanigans of having 9 ufo in area s4 that us gov has had for basically forever

I think it's also same boat of conspiracy of 9/11

I like that people are question everything we are told but once the research has been done it should be a clear answer. I usually go into these things with an open mind and hear out both side but most of the time the doubters are really reaching (flat earth) and ignoring facts

I don't believe there is an organization competent enough to fake and sustain a false landing on the moon.

I've also physically touched an artefact from the space program.

This is what Buzz Aldrin thinks of people who believe the moon landing was faked.

I reached over the glass and touched the Apollo 15 command module Endeavour.

Can’t believe tin foil hat wearing conspiracies like this still have any traction. Can we all just do a gofundme for NASA so the can pay for the resources involved to retask the Hubble to get a look at the landing sites already?

One of my pals got to hang out with Buzz Aldrin. Apparently he feels strongly about folks who doubt the moon landing.

We landed on the moon before there was a conspiracy to say we didn't. So of course we did. Except for flat earth, that is the stupidest conspiracy theory I can recall.

I’ve gotten to sit in the actual lander (it’s more of a standing position though). Also got to play with some of the trainer modules Buzz used among others.

Yeah US landed. Seriously people under estimate how much effort it takes to fake something and keep it from coming out. People just love to fucking talk. :rolleyes

Your coworker is a fucking idiot. Don’t associate with that person anymore.

Any time someone brings that up, I immediately stop listening. GTFO with that shit.

LOL, agreed. Not one whistleblower, not one leak, etc.?

My friend/neighbor (PTT instructor) thinks the moon landing was faked, while he proceeds to tell me he doesn't believe in dumb conspiracy theories.

There is a show on the Science channel (maybe history) where a doubter, a scientist and an astronaut discuss and dive into facts about it.

Pretty cool as they strip back each supposed false fact and explain it away.

In the end... the doubter ain't doubting much.

A lot of money spent and not much to show for it.

a lot of new science was invented to go to the moon. it might be hard to quantify the ROI on that endeavor, but im sure there was a lot more than you are imagining. theres no way our entire presence in space would be where it is now without Apollo. GPS, cell phones, anything satellite based, SpaceX, etc. i bet itd all be 20yrs behind.

at a minimum, a ton of people were employed and our economy was given a huge boost. we could have spent all that $$ on going to physical war, instead of a science war. but i really doubt that would have been better for society.
