Now they need to get some more tracks on the schedule. We even get a 30 minute preview show

"CBS Sports Network and AMA Pro Racing, in conjunction with Chet Burks Productions, announced today a television agreement to showcase GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Road Racing as part of the Network's CBS Sports Spectacular series. CBS Sports Network will air flag-to-flag race coverage of the premier National Guard SuperBike and GoPro Daytona SportBike classes through the 2014 season."

Somewhere I have the VHS tape of that race for the SuperSport(?) title with Kurtis Roberts and Eric Bostrom fighting out of turn 9. I think Jamie Hacking was in that too now that I think of it.

I haven't ever been there in person -

is Willow Springs' 2013 track surface, runoff, & infrastructure sufficient for a safe AMA Pro race?

Can't be any worse than it always has been.

Moot point anyway because Southern California can't support an AMA Pro Road Racing event. None of the Willow Springs or Fontana events were ever well attended. Four or Five Supercross races, no problem but not roadracing.
