Next practice is March 7th. They're running the dirt section, so no PB or roadbikes this time. Sorry guys! Mike did say that he may have a road session at a future date. Different sessions for novice, intermediate, & pro.

The track supposed to be tighter than Stockton with semi-banked turns.

Just curious, how would you rate this track compared to Stocktons typical practice configuration of 11 turns?

What I mean is, is it about the same (wide open) or a little more techinical?

And too bad they don't hold the track open later than 5 pm ........especially for those that don't have flexible hours.

I suggest we speak to Mike for a date for a trial practice, group seperation. We need to figure out how the basic lay out will stand. We can set it up like Stockton practice days, minimum corner workers, no ambulance....just sign the waver.

But first, we need to set up a group of individual for all the admin work. We need to know the racers/machines that are interested and test the track to see if it fits everyones need...to race. It is possible we can have a short race series (Contingency) for this year if possible. If not, we can hopefully plan for next year. I dont know if we can get YSR's on there, but the PB crowd is a definate yes, expecially for Saturday races....

I would like to help organize an event, eventhou I do not own a PB (I take donations).

Let me know....maybe it will work out....

Daren buddy, I use to live in Davis and went down to check out the cart racing one time last year. In response to your question about the track: I wasn't impressed by the layout. It looks like it's a fixed layout, no elevation changes and overall it's pretty small. Doesn't mean it wouldn't be fun to rail around for a couple of hours, but just thought I'd give my 2 cents worth.

cheers

Thanks Paul :)

Sounds like a good track for the PBer's.......in regards to the longevity of these lil' motors.

2 practice sessions, 8 lap Heat, 10 lap Main, 9 scheduled races @ WOT at Stockton is a bit much for these lil' things.......and that doesn't account for any weekend fun these guys have :p I guess we'll find out how durable these lil motors are (LOL).
