Did you guys get owners manuals?

yup got it to....now the big question...is there such thing as a break in period for these...if so...doh! :shhh

I ran mine for 30 min then let it get cold over night, and ran it again the next day for 30 min. Thats it, as far as im concerned its ready.

brought it home, put it in second and started my wheelie practice. then threw it down the street and went home!

:confused it's still an internal combustion engine with a bore and rings. I tried to do some compression braking yesterday before the madness set in. when it only has 2.5hp to start with, every little bit counts? :twofinger well, thrash it and be one step closer to a big bore kit (and dang there's plenty to choose from).

does this thing have a filter? I gotta' read the manual I guess.

It has a filter. Its right behind the carb in that funny looking black thing. Im getting a K&N filter asap and losing the airbox.

ah yeah. I might try swiss cheesing the stock airbox first. but I meant does it have an oil filter. I don't think so, there is some oil strainer thing in the manual, says dealer svc. recomended only. not for this group I think! will read it better later as I'm still in the take the stickers off of it stage :p

there's an engine oil strainer screen (sounds like the mille!) and an engine oil "centrifugal filter" wherever the heck either of these are.

anyone with either of these manuals can tell us?
