Cafe Aquatica up in Jenner is a lovely place to turn around if you ride out-and-back on the coast from SF. It's a coffee shop that sweetens its drinks with a local mushroom called the candy cap.

Jenner is where the Russian River pours out into the ocean. There's a patio with a bunch of wooden lawn chairs and an epic view of the delta.

They're closed during shelter-in-place, but selling coffee and gift cards online.

The Oakland Motorcycle Club's Sheetiron 300 Sweep Crew, posing for a
photo at the Soda Creek Store at 4:30 pm on Saturday afternoon ...

absolutely love the folks at the Soda Creek Store, but guess the store itself is an acquired taste ... hope they are well.

Patti's Thunder Café, Quincy. I’ve been know to drive the long way back from Reno for Patti’s breakfast.

Coyote Cafe Downieville. Sausage, 2 eggs and coffee for $9.98!

Kiva Koffeehouse, Hwy 12 Escalante Utah mostly for koffee and the view.

When heading down hwy 1 to Ventura or San Diego I stop for breakfast at Whole Enchilada Restaurant in Moss landing for an artichoke omelet. Good food and time to celebrate being done w/ the boring part of the ride at least until Morro Bay.

Cecil’s in Garberville is a overnighter destination ride for dinner. Usually followed by a quick ride through the redwoods before heading back south the next day.

The deli in Worton's Market in Foresthill.

Same in Georgetown too.

Fields Station has been mentioned a couple of times. Yeah if your there, gotta stop. Not much else out there there, other than empty roads, with more bicycles than cars.

The Africa Twin in the photo isn't mine--I didn't ride half way around the world to get there like that rider did.

Wait! It doesn't have to be in California?

Trudy's Kitchen in Idaho City. I eat there quite often when I've been riding up in the hills.

One more:

Barbara's Fish Trap in Half Moon Bay. It's in the Marina. Hard to find parking for a car, but they can easily hold half a dozen motorcycles at the front of the lot where a car won't fit. And during normal times you can either dine inside or order from the walk-up window.

Since we're getting farther from home, Terminal Gravity Brewpub is a great destination stop in Enterprise, OR, if you're up by Snake River Canyon.

In addition to good food, good beer and a good band, they suggested we camp on the lawn (for me between bike & plants in 2nd pic), which increased alcohol sales a little since we weren't riding away.

No one's mentioned Nepenthe in the Big Sur area.

And The Sea Chest Oyster Bar in Cambria as well as The Moonstone Beach Bar and Grill, both on Moonstone Beach Drive right on the coast.

Could not find a link in Morrow Bay. Moss Landing yes.

Is that it??

Yeah, us Northerners always get the 2 mixed up. I edited my post.
They have great ciappino, is right on the beach and you can watch whales during the season.
Stewart's Point store also has great sandwiches.

I'll throw in Spud Point Crab Shack in Bodega Bay
Café Aquatica in Jenner. Coffee and light meals with a killer view and a groovy hippy vibe.
