So after hearing so much about how great Deadwood is, I finally watched it and I agree that it is good (not great, but really good). After watching three seasons I find that it ended in 2006.:wtf

I thought it was an ongoing series and am very annoyed that it ended with so much left hanging.

Nowhere near as good as Sopranos (the first 4 seasons)

Deadwood was much too slow.

I'm calling bullshit on that one. I've watched Deadwood and Rome multiple times front to back. I doubt that I've seen every Soprano episode.
The next series by IIRC the same director flopped big time. It had some of the same characters but the story was fubared beyond imagination.
