Deadly Crash on Bay Bridge

Bad traffic this morning due to crash between bus and box truck this morning just east of Treasure Island. Give yourself more time this morning.

"A passenger in a box truck died early Wednesday morning after authorities said his driver rear-ended a Golden Gate Transit bus in a traffic collision that also sent the driver and a second passenger to the hospital with serious injures, according to the California Highway Patrol. "

I left the bike at home and decided to catch a ride in with my husband since he's working in SF today. It's usually 5-7minutes from our house to the toll booth. Today it took us an hour and 45 minutes.
Edit: An hour and 45 to the tollbooth. Another hour to get to work in Fishermans Wharf.

I dunno what Canteen does (the company who was using the truck) but it sounds like an event company. It was around the same time not too long ago that an event AV truck crashed early in the morning and unfortunately killed that toll taker. I'm in the same line of work and it sucks seeing stuff like this we get worked super hard during busy season with insane schedules (working weeks straight, 14+ hour days easily and late strikes/super early calls stacked up).
