hay lets freak out the tin-haters.

ok so we all know someone can scam your cc with some gismo anyone can afford.
but how about our DL's (other cards?) and the info they contain. and then you can access more through the,
dmv,
police,
bank,
etc???

any good network of criminals (chicoms?) can hack into these places with little to no trouble.

what can one do to stop... ya right,

slowdown them... maybe.

Yes, you can steal people's RFID information just by being near them, but most of it is not useful (for financial crimes at least).

You can scan anyone's DL and know what you would know by looking at it, but that's not a huge deal. Now that most credit/debit cards are switching to chips instead of stripes the RFID information (if it's still there) will probably be obsolete.

Don't they still have both though? Seems to defeat the purpose then.

OP stop surfing the dark web and watching Hackers movies.

One doesn't need to hack the DMV database to access your information.
Most of the hacks on user stupidity.
