Crash (maybe) on 580 @ the Quarry/Edwards

Just now, coming back from the school run I saw two cars on westbound 580 with a motorcycle next to them and the rider walking around. White sprotbile - rider with black and white leathers. I hope you are OK, the front end damage on the rear car was massive.

That was me! (White ZX-10R)

I wasn't involved in the accident, but I stopped to make sure everyone was OK until the police/ambulance showed up. Two of those cars took a big hit - but it looked like everyone was doing fairly well - just some cuts from the airbags going off.

One of the witnesses said that a 4th car fled the scene. I have a feeling it may have been a silver Infiniti 4-door (maybe an ~04 i35) that passed me going ~120mph & weaving a few minutes earlier. That jackass could have easily caused this big crash. I called the CHP later to give them that info.

Good, I didn't know if that third vehicle mentioned in the CHP transcript was an MC.

Too bad you didn't get the reckless driver on a GoPro. It helped me put a road rager behind bars after he caused a motorcycle to crash in front of me.

@richk, in regards to the possible 4th car, "that's Oakland". Can't wait to get out of here once done with taking care of parents.

It is hilarious :rofl when people express the sentiment like, "People here don't care about Oakland and the community, that is why I'm leaving as soon as I can."

Rich stopped to make sure everyone was safe. If I had not been travelling in the opposite direction, I would have stopped. Sounds like you are the one who doesn't care enough about Oakland to do the hard work to make it a better place.
