COTA ----- stoked!

Just under a month away. I am stoked to go to the first MotoGP race at the track

I went to the first one at Indy and enjoyed the hell out of it. Knowing that the guys don't have a track record there keeps it interesting. I wish all the teams had the chance to ride there, but is what it is.

I have heard Austin is a cool town and the track looks nice for sure so hoping for an epic weekend of racing. Getting to watch two rounds of the Red Bull Rookies Cup is such sweet icing on the cake. :banana

Pretty sure Anthony will be a little nervous until he cuts it loose and races. Hell I would be!!

I would love to see an American on the podium, but that is a long shot. A good result from Ben and Nicky would be great and that would be a solid top ten IMO.

Looking forward to seeing the hype that the city will have for the races. We get jack squat for TV coverage on the news when the guys come to Laguna, but I found quite a bit at Indy. That along with the downtown area actually seeming to be into it was cool to see. I am thinking the city will be into it and that makes the fan experience better.

Can't wait to be off the couch and in the stands, in the pits and cheering the guys on.

I forgot that you would be with the beautiful pit people. You need to look for Schwantz. I am not sure what to say to him, but hey, you can see if he's wearing a COTA or MotoGP hat.

Austin is a big college / party town (lots of folks wearing UT burnt orange).... Not as architecturally or geographically interesting as the bay area... but a lot of fun with more hipsters per square than anyplace in the US. Steve Ray Vaughn statue and the million bats coming out from under bridge (I think they will be there in April...) are always required tourist stops

Looking forward to seeing Moto2, Moto3, and the RBRC after all the years of not seeing them at Laguna.

Not sure what the truth is, but it sure seems like COTA screwed him -- even if the screwing was technically not breaking any contracts (which maybe didn't exist).

Allow extra time to get in the circuit. As a consequence of the events in Boston they are stepping up security for the weekend at COTA.

Wonder if you'll have to take your shoes off to get in ?

This place is cool.

Track is cool. Food is good. Austin is cool. This is a good race to travel too. Way nicer than Indy in my opinion.

Downtown Austin is cool. 6th street is happening. Lots of music and activity.
You younger folks will dig it.

This band was awesome. The cover everything from journey to avg white band to def leopard to Michael Jackson to black eyed peas to lady gaga. Holy shit. :wow

Took this shot walking in this AM. Already at 8:45 they had a band playing.

Beautiful venue for music and they have some big headliners playing concerts here. Smart as hell to have this going and keep $$$ rolling in when there are not races.
