Corona Isolation Ride?

Since the weather is going to clear up for a couple of days, any interest in a "Isolation" group ride? We could meet, stay in our helmets and do a group ride? Many of us are at home... let's make some lemonade!

For Dogs sake, how much more isolated can we get than being alone on a bike, alone on the road, inside basically a Hazmat suit????

Don't get caught, they WILL lock you up.
:ride FAST

Coughing or spitting considered deadly assault?
or
self protection?

I seriously doubt that the Popo are waiting to chase us scofflaws down if they see a bike go by. I guess I may find out on Saturday.

Grocery stores are open. It’s ok to go buy food. If anyone asks just say you’re on the way to the store...

I still have to go to work everyday at a moto shop in SF and they’re legally open. We still have customers. People are still riding.

Nobody is going to get locked up for riding.

Moto shops can remain open because the moto is an essential means of transportation.

6’ apart is a challenge with some friends I ride with. :laughing

I think this is safe as long as you don’t fall down and take an ambulance ride. Risks go up for gassing up, getting lunch or whatever. None of those are particular to riding.

I still have to work the wife to get out.
Wearing pants in the family does not mean shit right now. :laughing

Not that it really does anymore anyway.
That is a good thing I believe.

I’m riding to the pharmacy tomorrow. Not sure of the route, but I want to stay away from any intersections. Mt Hamilton to Quimby perhaps.

Yep, if you do get pulled over, you're going to bullshit your way out of it. Hopefully it's the first day on the job for the LEO.

Seriously, I am a solo caregiver and an injury would seriously mess things up. I can control what I do, but not others. Avoid traffic at all costs.

I ride like two lives depend on it. They do. And first responders are not going to be in a good mood if you irresponsibly need help.

I do have to keep my sanity though. There is that.

Weather is going to be better in a day or two. I was thinking about taking a ride. Two things have changed my mind. One I emailed my local grocery and asked about a senior shopping hour and they did it for tomorrow. I was going to go, but my daughter (Ph.D. Johns Hopkins) got word and called and said do not go out at all. Then I read bojangles post

I'm waiting for them to call me into a tent in the ER parking lot right now.

I guess I will stay put at home. :(

Hope this does not last long, stay safe and ride later. :ride

I commute on my motorcycle and my job is classified as essential so yeah, no problem here. Group riding is definitely a no no, according the shelter in place order.

I ride to work and haven't been looked at so its got to be alright but be cautious up in the hills. A fishing guide was on the water today and was told that he cant be there, DFG cant kick him off the water but was warned if the police show up they can.
