I saw Wes at Road Atlanta back in the day when a quarter fairing on a production bike was "rad." Road Atlanta was a great spectator track, but don't camp there Saturday night, unless Mugello is your vibe.

I got to see Cooley in action side by side in a 24 HR race.
For split second and then watched him rip away.

He was riding for Team Suzuki as an old (not really) broken racer (after his Sears Point T1 crash) dude. Even more impressive was his speed at night. His white leathers, skinny ass legs and mighty right wrist rocking the dark.

Wes repped what a racer was. All in. Much respect.
