Complaint Department is never open!

Just wanted to pitch a bitch about West Marin roads being stuffed with trucks, cars, bicyclists and horse trailers today.

It begs the question, "Doesn't anyone have a job to go to anymore?"

It seems as though there is a huge leisure class now. People who have nothing better to do than get in their car, truck or other vehicle and conspire to create a lot of traffic jams, all over the place, especially on the better moto-roads in the Bay Area.

Of course, there is no one to complain to, either.

Ok, bitch mode off. The answer is still get up earlier, and ride when you know there are fewer maroons out.

The 1st Gen Tundra with peeling paint and a load that smells like death is me. Deal with it, I pay taxes here :x

You left out the wandering Zombies all over West Marin.

.....asks the guy out riding on a sunny weekday.:laughing
You were in Marin after all. Trust fund babies call clogging the road "their job" anyway, so what's your point?

Paid my dues...supported myself, and others from age 14 to 62...my new job description, passing tourists and trustafarians on local backroads. It's an all volunteer position, too.

And what sun? It was foggy on the coast.

Not everybody (retired) and even when I did "work" (if we could call a sinecure as "work"--I worked for the C&C of SF) I worked nights. And I was fairly often up there in Marin County for various reasons during weekdays. And I wasn't the only one around who was free during the daytime on weekdays.

Eh it was Friday... lots of people take half a day off on Fridays or just leave work early.

If I could chose a weekday to go riding on, I'd probably pick Wednesday. That's the day most people are for sure likely to be at the office or whatever.

Its called work/life balance and people seem better at it these days. I've been slacking off for about a year trying to recover from my midlife crisis. Clogging up the backroads on my motorcycle is the best cure. Sorry. :laughing

This way...That way...
Furthermore, why YOU be clogging up MY West Marin roads?

:laughing

^^^^
Exactly! :laughing
That's my commute, after all.

You Mariners are lucky there's a filter (SF and the GGB) that keeps a lot of us from further clogging those roads.

Instead, we have to gather around Alice's after we've ridden perfect pavement thru forest and glen, never any traffic, and always sunshine somewhere.

This problem will only get worse, I have given up living here full time and only visit in Oct. Which is now fire and earthquake weather month to add to the "welcome back" rat race.

Not me. When I was working, I had all Wednesdays off.
