Classic case of target fixation you think?

Yeah, pretty bad target fixation. He should have reset his body and steered the bike.

Yup.

Target fixation that led to an abrupt release of the clutch and a lack of input to the handlebars.

I'm glad that he didn't went over the bridge wall after he crashed. But as I kept replaying the crash over and over, it seemed like he hit a loose rock or gravel and caused the handlebars to wobble and thereby a chain reaction to crash. I'm not sure since the quality of the vid is not that high.

Looks like front washed a little, back washed more, then he recovered. All good up to there.

He was still aproaching the turn, however, and didn't turn. He didn't even put his left foot back on the peg, he was so busy looking at the bridge. :|

Look where you want to go.

Look where you want to go.

Look where you want to go.

Look where you want to go.

Look where you want to go.

That is all.

IMNSHO the rear tire lost traction in a manner similar to dumping the clutch after a downshift. It caused a momentary loss of traction of the rear wheel. When the rear wheel regained traction, is quickly came back into line with the front wheel. We see this as the motorcycle wiggles/wobbles for a split second.

The rider was in over their head (possibly due to being on camera) and panicked at the sight of the 'wall'. At that point, the stopped controlling the motorcycle. I didn't see any attempt at avoiding the obstacle. No input to the bars, no braking, etc.
