I bet she is glad she had a chest plate inserted on Thursday morning when she approached an unknown driver at the gate of USN Corpus Christi and he shot her at close range.

Amazing, she had enough wits about her to activate the barricades and stop him from getting in. She saved lives on that base. Fortunately, the threat was quickly neutralized but it could have been much worse.

Luckily, she will completely recover physically. Many federal agencies on this one, as it has been labeled an act of terrorism.

Yeah, sounds like some other dirkas attacked another base in Florida in December, so I guess wearing a plate carrier is a thing now.

There are grocery stores that have more armed security than US military bases.
