This is a four day trip to Nevada, Thursday-Sunday, October 17-20. Except for the asphalt to get to Nevada, this is a mostly dirt trip.

You will need at least 175 mile fuel range. 200 is preferred.

I've imported the route to Google MyMaps for easy viewing.

I haven't been here before. Researched a route that should be good for mid-sized bikes. I'm bringing a Husqvarna 701SM.

PM me if you want to join.

East Walker River hot spring pics ... always an adventure on my n00bie KLR ... :laughing

... and I continued to bond with the new bike by throwing
it down the trail ... :laughing This one hurt a bit ...
I was trying to scoot down-hill along on the smooth edge of the road
on the left side of the pic by giving it throttle ...

There have been some gully washers out there this summer and Trail 765K was in rough shape ...

I was pretty happy to have finally found it after searching for it for years ...

This looks like a fun route. Dates won't work for me, but I'm definitely going to try and save it.

Hope you guys have a blast.

Looks like there's a lot of places to ride out there. I'm just not sure what is mid-sized bike friendly. Will do some reconnaissance and report back.

I was just out in NV, camping at weeks (halfway btw Yerington & Fernley). My favorite spot is still a bit East of where you will be riding. The Mountain range south of Austin is awesome. The Big Creek campground is beautiful - right on the creek. If you follow the road that goes by the campground through the mountains to the east (lots of fun water crossings), it dumps you out in Kingston.

The reese valley is quite scenic, if you head down 21 there is an abandoned house/complex that is defo worth a visit. You can take 844 past the Berlin Ickthyosaur SP to Gabbs.

A very Nevada trip.

Hey RavenQueen,

ran into you CB500X friend George (bananachunks) last night, and we had fun thinking about your NV ride this weekend ...

Hope you had fun! :thumbup:ride
