Pure CBD 0% THC, Does it work? Mainly for inflammation, sprains, strains, etc.

Have you used it and clearly noticed results?

I tried some CBD cooling salve for a month or so and couldnt tell if it made a difference. Now im looking at combination of a tonic and salve to try.

Any recommendations of quality lab tested products?

External did zero for me. Tried it daily for about a month on my back.
Ate some CBD candy before bed a couple of nights ago. I woke up not feeling as bad as I usually do but I don't know if it was the CBD or the placebo affect or just one of those nights. I need to consult with my MD to make sure there are no bad interactions with my other meds.
Glad you brought this up. I've started researching CBDs lately. Its an unregulated industry and there is no way to know if the dosage or quality is as claimed. No real clinical trials have been done either.

what ive read is to make sure theres a certificate of analysis from a state certified lab on the product. the products ive been looking at have that. i suppose it could still be snake oil.

Also consider Kratom. It's known as the working man's drug and is great for sore muscles. One pill gives me a little too much of a buzz to want to work while using it, but I don't even like drinking a single beer in the daytime. Good for the end of an especially hard day. Don't use anything with any regularity, habits are generally worse than whatever they're trying to address.

Never heard of it so I had to google it. Not something I’d be interested in as it states that it has mind altering effects, psycho effects and something about binding with opioid receptors. I’m addicted to motorcycles and don’t have the money for another addiction :cool

Don't blame ya. The opiod part concerned me too when I was reading about it. Using it is far more tame than it sounds, but I don't have an addictive personality at all. You just gotta know yourself when trying things. Be curious to hear your thoughts on CBD oil if you try it.

Cool. And that’s the 100% cbd cream? Or the tincture they have?

Everything I’ve read on cbd is positive. Just got to make sure what I get is legit. I’ll give it a couple month tryout by itself to see if I feel a difference in any way.

Warning: Do Not Engage
My friends say it doesn't work as well at my THC gummies but don't have the negative side effects so perhaps if they took more it would even out.

I'm also really interested in the oil, just to see if it can help with muscle spasms and severe back/neck pain. I've tried a brand called scents-a-mia I think, which was supposed to have some cbd in it, but it did nothing. I take dilaudid for my back but whenever I fall asleep as soon as I wake up it's like I hadn't taken anything. My back and legs go crazy, my neck is stabbing, everything hurts. I'm just worried about interactions with all the other meds I take and violating a pain management contract with kaiser. I'd really like to try it though.

I've tried "pure" cbd wax for back pain after an accident, and didn't like it too much. I would recommend like anything from 4:1 CBD:THC to 8 or 16:1 depending on tolerance and how you feel

Pretty sure CBD is a solid search term on BARF at this point. I know I've responded to at least 3 threads in the last few months.

I may not have the best search skills but I didn't find anything specific about CBDs. A lot of med MJ and LEO stuff.

I'm interested in CBDs as an anti inflammatory and pain reliever. I can't have any detectable THC in my system due to random testing. Right or wrong, agree or not, it would be a career changer for me and I'm too old for that shit.

There may be more but I'm on a deadline at work right meow.

EDIT: The last link is not for CBD, not sure why it came up in my search. :laughing

CBD Oil: All the Rage, But Is It Safe & Effective?
But experts say the evidence is scant for most of these touted benefits.

Worse, CBD is being produced without any regulation, resulting in products that vary widely in quality, said Marcel Bonn-Miller, an adjunct assistant professor of psychology in psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

"It really is the Wild West," Bonn-Miller said. "Joe Bob who starts up a CBD company could say whatever the hell he wants on a label and sell it to people."
...
Only one purported use for cannabidiol, to treat epilepsy, has significant scientific evidence supporting it.
Like most fads (if that's what it is) it will pass on to the next fad in abou t a year, from the sounds of it.
