Carnegie: occasional Friday, mellow rides?

Yup, I'm definitely up for that (can't go this Friday, though).

But you're missing out if you avoid mud. It's way more fun than that dry, dusty crap (not talking about axle-deep slop here, just regular mud).

Im in. Ive got some rapidly declining race gas that needs to be burnt up. What better way than by runnin' some trails.

Just curious but does anybody know of a coin-car wash in the livermore area? I just started renting a place in San Ramon w/o a garage and hose and keep the bike at a storage facility in LibMo and I would hate to have to drive all over hell and back just to ride a bit. I'd have beers for anybody that let me wash the bike up at their place following a ride as well.

Are you guys going this Friday (11/13)? Maybe I'll just have to drag myself out there for a couple of hours.

I'll have to see what I can do. I'm going to Cow Mountain Saturday morning, so I might be better off staying home Friday and getting my stuff ready to go.

how is cow compared to stony or middle creek??
i know we went through it on the sheetiron but i had lost the hard guys and was riding with a mellow group and didn't get to ride any singletrack.

I rode the easy split through Cow on the Sheetiron because I was riding with a dirt noob. But I rode the singletrack on the Lost Coast ride and it was pretty cool, though we obviously didn't get to see nearly all of it. That's all the experience I have there. I'll probably be able to tell you more next week.

And I won't be able to make it to Carnegie on Friday. I just have too much going on.
