For those who still want to take part play by the rules, anything goes. Grab whatever you can get your hands on, its all on sale.
Go for the low hanging fruit, old people have the weakest grip. Let them carry it to the front of the store before grabbing it from them.

Not doing something should be the epitome of something that takes a lack of effort.

Seems like an easy way to protest the wasteful culture of buying crap and then tossing it in the bin

I haven't bought anything on Black Friday since they came up with name. Honestly. It grosses me out. I mean, if I have to go the grocery store or hardware to fix something.

And since Internet, I just can't see it.

If you see it from a hunter-gatherer aspect, it's like the excitement that a windstorm has just knocked all the acorns or fruit off the tree and the women are rushing around with their baskets.

Seriously though, who cares? Life is short and I'd rather just buy what I want assuming I can afford it. Although I guess that's where I draw the line...reduced credit spending but not necessarily reduced consumerism.
