I’m sharing this leter from Buttonwillow Raceway Park, hope this information helps.

Event Information for all AFM Racers:

We would like to welcome all AFM racers back to Buttonwillow Raceway Park as you open the 2018 racing season. Below are a few notes and information you may find helpful before the weekend.

1. There is camping on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, the gate will be open all night! Racers can arrive anytime they want on Thursday, you do not have to wait until 5:00PM to get in the gate.
2. BRP will have an Open Test day for all licensed AFM racers on Friday. We will run 3 groups, all based on AFM practice groups. $145 for a full day 9-5, $90 for a half day which starts at 1PM. No pre registration, sign up at the main track office starting at 7:00AM Friday morning.
3. There are just a couple of RV spaces still available with power and water. The remaining spots cost $20 per night and can be reserved by calling 661-764-5333.
4. We have VP race fuel: MR12 $159, U4.4 $98, and C12 $86 all available in 5 gallon pails. It can be reserved by emailing fuel@buttonwillowraceway.com or calling 661-764-5333
5. Big 20 pound bags of ice can be purchased at the tire shop for $8, we will never run out. Golf Karts can be rented at the tire shop for $50 per day, or $100 for the weekend.
6. Indoor showers can be found in the go kart bathroom and there are two new, recently enclosed showers in the West side restroom building.
7. A reminder the Buttonwillow Raceway Gift Shop now carries the full line of Dainese motorcycle race and street wear. This includes the amazing D-Air® Racing Misano suit and the Kangaroo leather Mugello, the safest leathers in the industry. We also have the AGV helmet line with a good selection of sizes and designs.

Any other questions can be answered by calling 661-764-5333 or emailing info@buttonwillowraceway.com

Is this same packages for Round-2?

Yes, Round 2 AFM/BWR Friday practice will be the same format as R1 BWR Friday, as always the BWR office has set this Friday aside for many years now for AFM racers only or visiting racers from other clubs, so lots of quality track time to test those latest modifications to your race bike!

3 group format based on combined AFM practice groups.

If you have a question about what group you should ride in, Kevin Murphy AFM racer nice guy will help you out during your tech. Please make sure your bike is ready for the track as well.

Pay at the gate, the front office and tech is by the track entrance under the Yoshimura tent.
