Bustin' out Skillz on da Streets?

No speed limits or cars!
Yesterday my wife and I were driving on San Thomas Expwy headed south, between Williams and Payne Ave.

We see four young guys all in black Tshirts 'n jeans on sportbikes pull up between cars to the line at Williams. I noticed they were all looking around, looking back, checking for something... which I suspected was for the cops.

I guess they didn't see any because when the light turned green they squirted out a few car lengths ahead and one guy on the right did a lame power wheelie, but another stood up on the seat and did a big 11 o'clocker as we were going towards Payne Ave. He started getting kinda wobbly at the end and I was wondering if maybe he was going to crash and so were some other cars that were following behind him, I saw brake lights coming on. Luckily he put the front down without dumping it.

I admire the skillz, but there are better places to show it off. :rolleyes

Hey, a couple months ago a kid on a sport bike entered the 880 as I passed in the No 2, in a cage. When he went by me, in the No 3, he was in a 11 o'clock wheelie, up on the right peg and passenger's left peg, LANE SHARED, in the same lane as a small cage in front of me, and continued the wheelie for another mile doing about 90. In total control the entire time. I was impressed.

When they fall and they all will with time.
Just remeber the lifes of the people that hit them on the brakes as they roll across freeway lanes and those people will be forever changed.

Not to mention the this style riding is great in a closed course place. But when done on the freeway, All those people in the cars just get more fuel to the fire on motorcyclist...

selfish I think

+1,
I use to be that "kid" about five years ago, I learned my lesson when I got in trouble that lasted for 9 months of criminal court trips because I didn't want a spot on my record, I am just a thrill seeker and do not have any points on my driving record what so ever. I am glad I learned my lesson when I did.

Some people learn it the hard way. :cool

I was heading home from school, and there is this red f4i that parks next to me.
I see him exiting the parking lot and meet up at the light, he has his girlfriend in the back both gearless btw. we ride in the same direction. He speeds up maybe trying to race me or show off. I see him again at the light.

The guy asks what size engine my bike is I tell him 998cc he has the :wow face.. so I tell him 1000cc he then nods and goes ohhh. Well light turns green I take off ahead and I see him in my right mirror front wheel up in the air 11 o clock, he passes me up on one wheel wheel while going on a turn he got all wobbly and then slammed the front end down. I thought he was going to go into a tank slapper.

It is already bad enough that he was pulling wheelies on the street but to do it with your girl in the back? cmon now. the girl looked like she was an unwilling participant she was hitting his back:rofl I felt bad for the girl
