First, I want to thank Budman for all that he does here. I know that there are many that work behind the scenes to keep this place humming, but Budman's vision and perseverance has created the single best resource for anything motorcycle related I have found.
Second, I want to thank BARF itself. We might not all agree, or even get along sometimes, but the collective wisdom is remarkable. Anyone that can endure some knocks here and there has an opportunity to really learn from some great people. Many of whom have already ridden more than I will during the remainder of my life.
Third, I appreciate the AMA, what they do for racing, and their advocation for all motorcyclists around the country.
So, with all of that said, I am very proud to have the BARF/AMA patch on my new gear. I am loading up the bike and hitching up my trailer to come down and get some riding in the Santa Cruz mountains and elsewhere, between storms. If any BARFers see some dude on a red 2008 Hypermotard wearing black Rukka gear with a sweet ass patch on his chest, feel free to say hi or give me a good old fashioned BARF salute.
