BSB Races on Velocity...

Have you guys been watching the BSBK races on Velocity? They replayed Silverstone over this weekend, and man what an event! Really good stuff, especially the duels between Alex Lowes and Shane "Shaky" Byrne. No shit, man, both races provided 2 of the best finishes I have seen all season. And if Suzuki could get some horsepower on tap Josh Brookes and P.J. would have been right there too! Brand's Hatch is next week I think, so if you can check it out!

I find many of the tracks that these guys run on to be most interesting and provides a slightly different kind of racing, but I like it!

Hell yeah! I've been watching all the BSB stuff since the off-season started. That series has a great vibe right now, really entertaining stuff!

tracks are mostly pretty sketchy and camera work is pretty bad, but there is some very hard racing at the front and OMG josh brookes catching air at oulton park?, i forget which track, was amazing.

I must admit, the camera work could be better! :laughing But I don't mind so much, the commentators are OK with me and hey, it's racing! :teeth

I like when they give a description of the corners with speed, it gives me a better sense of how fast these guys are going

hey, no matter how badly announcer Barnicle sux:

[1] co-announcer Jamie Witham's funny & experienced
[2] circuits are new to most of us
[3] PJ Jacobsen #99 of USA rides well on Tyco Suziki
[4] 10am Sat & 3am Sun showtimes - anyone's gotta be up during 1 of those slots.....

I like the commentary! And I really like the tracks. It's true that some of them are not real polished and pretty , but that is the very thing that makes them so interesting. These guys really have to hustle the bikes around on some of them, you know - it's not all super sweeper, plush pave. Kinda like grass-roots stuff. It's cool of Velocity to bring the series to the U.S. audience.

On another note, I am glad that P.J. got a ride on the Intermoto Ponyexpres Kaw in WSS next year. He is a really good rider and I think he has a real chance to do well there.

AYE YAH!
BSB has been the shit for years...for me anyway. They seem to brawl more and don't bitch about the bikes rubbing during the races.

I've found those races WAY more entertaining than WSBK or GP sometimes.

since we have no BSB thread:

John Hopkins returns to BSB

"...... I’m just trying to work something out now to get out with the Yoshimura Suzuki team here in America as they have a test track quite close to me.....

.....“The plan now is to arrive in the UK at the end of February, get comfortable over there; then head down to Spain and meet the team and be ready to go. Yeah I can’t wait to get started

HOPPER!! Man I sure wish that guy well. It's a real risk for him after all he has been through but you have to love the guy's heart. I know I'll be rooting for him. I Hope the bike is up to speed. Those guys typically come ready to play though, so I don't see that as a problem, really.
