Looks like BSA may have risen from the grave just in time for Halloween. :teeth

BSA motorcycles back in business?

Mahindra are bringing Jawa motorcycles back

Hello, world!
I'm excited there will be new Jawa bikes, though I guess it's just for the Asian markets. Jawa 350 two-strokes were the closest thing to a sportbike available in the USSR in 1980's and 1990's.

Ahh BSA. Birmingham Small Arms. My first crash was on a 46 BSA single Army bike. It was 23 years old at the time, lol.

Enfield Manufacturing started as a gun manufacturer. Royal Enfield was their motorcycle brand.

wow, after all these barf years, this is only my 2nd intrawebz argument -
OK, I'm game!

am I a RE expert? not a chance
have I any skin in this vital contest [beyond false pride]? no

was RE the M/C manufacturer shot from RE the gun manufacturer?

NO.....

I was just being this guy:

no, I was being him - & enjoying it

to continue berating a deceased donkey, I'll break down & say
the way I remember it being, is that the M/C Co's founders
glommed onto the "Enfield" name bcz of the non-affiliated
Rifle Co's rep, & added "Royal" bcz it carries cachet in UK

whatever.......

First of all I would like to see some bikes. Secondly do we really need more retro bikes right now? It seems the market is becoming saturated with them lately.
