Looking for a shop that can make a custom (replacement) metric hard line with corresponding threaded fittings ? (not braided)

Preferably in SF or Oaklandish area

thanks!

mmmm, nooooo

A. that would require a custom braided lines/manifolds which would cost twice as much overnight of the stock OEM from Japan

B. It would likely not fit or route well underneath and around the airbox

Don't auto parts stores still stock hard lines in various lengths ?

Not sure, never looked, but doubt they would have something this short (1.5 ft)

I would need several bends in it, considering its BRAKES I need it professionally done.

Thanks all, I briefly looked at DIY options but I'd rather have the work done by a trusted/experienced shop, because well, home made brake lines seem just a bit too adventurous for me :ride

Now back to the topic... anybody have shop recommendations ?

Is this for some linked brakes application? On my 5th gen vfr, when I swapped the engine , dealing with the brake plumbing took as much time as rest of the frame swap :laughing. At one point I was ready to rip it all out and de-link the brake lol

Touching on that point, on the VFR the circuit that activates the additional pistons due to linked system is independent of the main brake circuit. I assume this will be typical of most linked systems. Check the service manual for your bike. Just pointing it out in case that changes your stand on DIY. So, on my bike an unlikely leak in the linked system won't cause the main 4 pistons (per caliper) of the front brakes to fail.

Thanks Rick, its not a VFR, this bike has ABS modulator located behind the battery, don't want to rip out just yet, need to replace hard line with damaged suspect / connector.

Ah.. didn't think of ABS bikes .. I am lagging a decade and a half behind in bike tech ha ha.

I imagine the lines are much more complex bends in small lengths in this case plus more critical.
