I have the Daytona Security boots, and while NOT cheap, they offer the best protection, but are not for walking around a lot.The Oxtar and Sidi boots have good protection/price.

Does anyone know of any shop that might have them all in stock. I called up roadrider and they said they carried sidi's but I forgot to ask which ones. I will call later and ask.

Once again thank you everybody.

Have you tried Cycle Gear?? I think there's one just around the corner from San Ramon.

at Scuderia also, they'll give a 10% discount on gear if you've passed your MSF within the last 6 months and show them your certificate. I know this only applies to a small % of BARFers, but just giving a heads up if anyone's interested.

Last year I used it on boots and back protector when I bought from them.

Thank you everyone for your replies.

I went down to Road Rider and bought the Sidi Vertebra 2's and walked out the door for $237. About the same price as online. I quickly proceeded to mess up the leather as I must have walked into a curb or something. Damn I am clumsy. :nerd
