Bonneville Speed Trials Canceled

Never seen no salt flats. What exactly are the conditions of the salt this year that caused them to cancel? Thanks.

Too much rain. There isn't a long enough section that is smooth and packed down enough (?) to set up a course. I'm no expert but thats what I understand.

The motorcycle week is canceled. Mike Cook's shootout is still on as of now. The Buckeye bullet is running now, private rent of salt.

Does look wet to me.

*Now the more on Cook's shootout. It is reserved for the fastest of the fast; cars and motorcycles clearly capable of challenging world record speeds. Less cars and bike so may be the salt will hold up.
