Bikers think they own the road

"So it seems this video is making it's way around, and there's a lot of questions. I'd like to try and answer some and also give more context if I can.
.
Sunday, 4pm, taking my family for a picnic in Silverado Canyon. 6 year old in the back. I have to pass Cooks Corner to get there. I know how terrible this spot is on the weekends. I approached the stop carefully, I saw two bikes preparing to leave. I had an open window between cars and had no idea they intended to cut me off. The biker with the female passenger locked eyes with me, and knew I was moments away from leaving the stop. After I pulled out, they pulled out, he did not signal to his friend to not pull out. I immediately honked, and layed on the horn for two reasons. 1. Get out of my way please 2. I'm upset. I firmly believe they would have stopped in the road like jerks, whether or not I honked. After they pulled out, stopped, and flipped me off, biker on left backed into me just to be more of a jerk. When he pulled away but still stayed there, I attempted to go around.
.
As I tried to go around, single male biker punched my passenger mirror, and other biker played a game of brake check with my 4000Lb 4x4. Yes, I could have kept more distance, but I did not expect a motorcycle rider with a passenger to actually brake check me one final time, hoping that I would hit him. His female passenger went bananas, got in my window and scared the hell out of my daughter. She never stopped yelling, the entire time. What ensued was her demanding I pull over, while 6 other bikers surrounded my truck and she blocked my path as well. I found this incredibly frustrating. Cooks Corners employees could not have cared less, and made no attempt to diffuse the situation.
.
The moment I had space to move, I drove up 100Ft and parked on the right side. I then decided to leave and call the police on my own, away from these people. My daughter was scared, I was uncomfortable, and I had little reason to trust these bikers to not have a weapon. I GTFO
.
I drove a mile or two down the road, then parked on an off street and called 911 non-emergency. Two police officers arrived, watched my cam footage once and immediately assured me I have nothing to worry about. I have an incident number. I'm still undecided as to press charges.
.
I appreciate the input from other bikers, and the concern/good wishes from other commenters. I cannot fathom how there are a few of you that call ME the asshole, and side with the bikers. You have no idea how much restraint I showed. If you are a biker and think I'm to blame here,YOU are one of those bikers furthering the stereotype. No person in the video was respectful or polite, no one apologized, no one diffused the situation. Every biker there had something nasty to say."

Worse than I thought.

Never heard of Cook's Corner before.

Wow what a bunch of @ssholes you can't win against a truck. The driver should have called the cops on them. They were obstructing traffic and brake checking is purposefully trying to cause an accident. If they rearended them they would win an insurance claim. The driver should have just ran them over.

Rolls with it...
I wonder if they (the riders) feel slightly embarrassed now that they have been viewed almost 50k times, and of course now that they may be sober....

Yeahhh, not so much. I'm sure it's more like "Hey look 50k people know who I am"... I'm a celeb.

Wow. Good that it did not escalate further.
Wow, I think just want to get away from a sitch like that. It looks like that was not easy.

I was hoping the driver had called law enforcement while he was sitting there. What a shitty situation to be put in. Even worse that he had a kid in the car.

some people flat out suck.

Triggers that cause this action: .. both parties choose the same traffic opening
T1 • .. the truck observes bikers didn't see him - yields, but honks his Horne to make the point.
.. the biker feels sudden shock and alarmed by the nearness of the honking and stop.
T2 • bikers start moving, trucker tries to over take them

Agreed with above.

The bikers are being dicks after the triggers. If I was the driver and saw them pulling out I would have slowed and let them lead the way knowing they are going to be moving faster than me anyway. I think once the altercation starts I'm getting on 911 immediately.

Total mob mentality.. The young lady feels emboldened by having her biker-bro's with her.

I feel bad for the family, but all could have been avoided.. I wouldn't fuck with bikers by running up on them and leaning on the horn myself..
