Best premix abs ratio for 02 yz250?

Hey all!

I just had the top and bottom rebuilt on my 02 yz250 and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on premix oil and mixture ratio. Trying to get the most life out of the new rebuild.

Seems 32:1 is standard. After that, there's a lot of tub thumping.

The manual says 32:1.

I suggest using a widely available synthetic at whatever ratio is recommended by the oil maker. If they don't have a recommendation, pick a ratio from 24:1 to 60:1.

Back when I had 2 jet skiis, a YZ and a TZR they all had different rations specified. The skiis were 50:1, the YZ was 32:1 and the TZR was I think 40:1. I just ran everything at 40:1 with Motul. Never had any problems with any of them.
