....besides the one in my pants.....:wow

My buddy wants one of these things in 380. I recommended:

-PPK (How can James be wrong?) but he said "too big" and not enough rounds.

-Rorhbaugh R9 he said "too expensive".

- Kahr (i think m9) he said "still too big".

He wants something along the lines of Taurus LCP.

Anyone have experience with any decent pocket pistols??:cool

I had a DB9 but sold it because I'm going to wait for the Kimber Solo to come into my local gun shop. I'm not sure you are going to find a 9mm any more compact than the DB9. It felt really snappy when you shoot it but it wasn't too bad.

Never seen these DB's. Pretty cool. I think he wants smaller and .380 for some goddamn reason.

Personally, I did have a PPK for awhile, but with what is available in 9mm, .40. and .45, I can't see why anyone would carry a .380 for self defense.

I have a .22 snubnose revolver, I love it! fits in the smallest of purses :laughing

I'll tell him to get the one with pink mop grips!:cool

A .22 Magnum revolver is quite small and packs a decent punch.

Or something more fancy but it requires some assembly and you only get one shot so make it count.

PPK is too thick for front carry concealment.

Ruger LCP 380
Keltec p3at/p32
Diamondback 380
Kahr P380

I REALLY want a Sig P238...close copy of the colt pocketlite. It's heavy but nearly no recoil and accurate.

Yeah, but he wanted a gun that size he could at least get .38 and likely .357, so why would anyone buy a .22mag?

Heck, he could get 9mm, .40, .45 autos smaller then that.

Although, my recommendation to him was the .38 Taurus bodyguard with the laser sight.

Smith and Wesson 642, hammerless airweight, .38+p, 5 shot. I have one, have trouble hitting a barn with it though.

I'd ask someone who's got a ccw. I could speculate, but don't have much actual experience :dunno

IMNSHO, If he doesn't know how to find the right gun he probably shouldn't be carrying at all.

:laughing

He has been carrying a Glock for several years. I am pretty sure he won't shoot his dick off.

We are going to the Raleigh Gun Show this weekend. He already knows what he thinks he wants (he wants to wield them to see which feels best):

Ruger LCP
Taurus TCP
S&W Bodygaurd .380

My intent with this thread is getting better ideas so my poor friend won't end up with a gaRy little girl-gun.

:laughing

Jesus, who wants to die with a fucking .380 in their hand???!!!
