Best place to board a pet?

I need to board my cat Arthur for a week when I go to Chicago. I need a place on the east side of San Jose or close to that area. Does anyone have any good experiences with pet boarding places and will recommend a place?

No, I do not, in the slightest, trust my housemates to properly care for him.

My sister-in-law uses Springdale Kennels to board her dog - I think they board cats as well. I know they treat her dog really well...

But seriously...probably a lot less stress to just leave kitty at home. If you're worried about your roommates, just leave out extra food and leave the seat up.
