best motard bike platform?

Jon, There is alot of stuff out for the CRF/YZF motocross bikes because Motard racing is very popular and the motocross fourstrokes are what are being raced for the most part.
If your looking for more of a road Motard rather than a racing machine then the 650 might be a better choice. A bike with a larger engine oil capacity is going to be more maitnance schedule friendly.
