Best(most fun) For go-cart track?

I have access to a go-cart track(the big kind where they race those fast go-cart) . Was thinking of buying something fun to do track days. If you were looking for a track toy what would you buy?. MSX125(Grom),CBR 150,CB150 or a Yamaha R15(150). I guess I don't see much difference between CBR and R15. Guess I'm hoping to hear from somebody who has tracked a Grom. Was it a lota fun? I understand a lot of the models listed aren't available in the US. Would you have preferred a full size 150 or was the Grom fun on a small tight track?

Thanks

I have tracked my grom twice now. Super fun, super cheap. It is not fast, but it teaches you a lot of skills. The best part is when knee is down and you start to slide, just push yourself back up because grom is super lite. I have been to Sonoma and to Stockton. Both are fun. Highly recommend upgrading the suspension though. Stock suspension is horrible. I put Ohlins front and rear on mine. Super cheap.

A couple guys I know race 85cc dirt bikes set up motard. One has a KX85 and that thing rips. And you can get and keep them cheap.

No. Just need to follow the local track rules.
I know that kart track bikes don't need to be street legal, I was asking norcalkid if he needed his to be street legal

it looks like he does, which limits his options quite a bit

I'd highly recommend not going street legal, it's a lot of extra cost and weight, and riding to the track isn't the best idea.

However, if you do, I'd probably go WR250X.

I'm in Thailand half the year on travel insurance. My insurance won't cover me if bike is non plated.

Groms are way cheaper here. Can pick a nice used one up for $1300. I think their only like 23-2400 new.

I like the super moto idea. Seen a few around.
