hey. ive been a member for about a year, when i was getting ready to start riding. Then family things came up, and my search came to a stop. things are more stable, so the quest has continued. Currently looking for a cheap dual sport to have fun with and commute to work with. MSF in the summer, and who knows what after that!

Dual sports are a great choice for beginners, as well as experienced riders that don't feel the need for triple digits several times per ride. :thumbup Plus, the DS opens up a whole bunch of roads most people wouldn't take their street bikes down.

Welcome! I used to work in Marina/Seaside. Was just down in Monterey and remembered how much I miss the ocean down there. Dual-sport could be a blast at Fort Ord. Good luck finding what you want!

Thanks Danate! Its alright here. Waters nice, but its too cold to enjoy.
I've narrowed it down to a few bikes on Craig's that I'm going to look at.
Pretty much the xr250 , dr250, and maybe a wr250 (if I can find one).
