2 stories, 1 ladder, no spotter, classic over reach,

tried to land it like Bruce Lee, Ended up landing like the six million dollar man. Standing tall I landed on the dominant leg and telescoped da femur into the tib plateau and the Fibula. Repair or Replace the Knee we shall see. They say they can rebuild me. Just not the bigger stronger version.

2 pins in da femur, cage around the knee, 2 pins in Tib. :(

i have an ice water pump if you need one. it only has the shoulder attachment but it's better than nothing and it is MAGIC

Jaysus. This was my year for a ladder accident, first in life. Fell backwards 10 feet off aluminum extension while pruning tree, flat on my back. Bruised from back of head down to tailbone. Laid on the ground for 10 minutes, convinced my back was broken and decent life over, just a year after big motorcycle accident. Entire ribcage bruised and still hurts when I breath (accident was Feb. 22). But, unlike you, I didn't actually break anything.

So sorry. Get well; thanks to med. technology, you'll live to abuse it again!!! We'll expect even more pithy comments in the sink.
