Awesome! Great PR guys. With the right spin and helping drivers understand that lane sharing is good for them, maybe we can slowly turn things around.

Well done indeed!
After 14years of almost daily lane splinting in Bay Area I have no desire to commute on a bike here in Az. I don't think I could handle very well being stuck in traffic on 2wheels.

Not as fast as I look.

I couldn't handle Maricopa in the summer even with an air-conditioned car. I would never move back there.

Great piece. Can everyone like it on facebook and put a link, please?

That is great! Kaz & Surg, IMO, you guys just reset the public impression meter: You are now officially the face of Bay Area motorcyclists to the rest of the world!

Awesome! Getting GoPro footage really puts the viewer in the rider's boots. Amazingly pro-motorcycle and pro-splitting piece by the WSJ. Thanks, Surj and Kazman!

It's on the LaneSplittingIsLegal Facebook page. It'd be great if folks would like / link there as well—the WSJ reached out to me via LSIL to do this project, and it's helpful to keep developing the critical mass of likes for communication via that page.

Thanks for the kind words, and thanks to the folks that showed up and helped out, but didn't get on camera.

I guess you need to subscribe. This is what I get with that link.

Try an incognito browser, or search for the URL in Google and click it. I don't have sub. They seem to be set up to give the first view before the paywall pops up.

I got the article by searching for the title in Google:
Motorcycle Lane-Splitting Could Move Beyond California
The WSJ article is the top result, and I clicked on that.

Aha, that works. Seems they let you see the article if the referrer is Google. For me a private browser window did NOT work.

EDIT: Here is your direct link via Google.
