Josh - a.k.a Phateless - just gave me a call. Due to some tire problems, he's now stranded in Hayward, at the Valero station on the Jackson exit, just off of 92. He's wondering if someone with a truck can give him a hand.

Thanks to everyone who called!! Ironically, I started getting calls just as my $150 tow truck was finishing up loading up my bike lol. Oh well, it's better than being stranded or trying to ride it home flat. It's good to know there are so many people willing to lend a hand. I will for sure be one of them if ever I can be.

I also was told about 18004bikers - a free service that tries to get riders local help. I'm going to check it out tonight.

Yeah that's what dude was talking about. I called the number on his card but dude couldn't find me a ride locally.
