Barf is first Online Moto community to be an 11-99 Foundation Member

Thanks to Pirelli USA and barf itself we have set another bar for others to match.
We are now a member of the CHP 11-99 Foundation.

This Foundation provides funds to help the families left behind because of a CHP officers lost in the line of duty.

Pirelli provided tickets to the Laguna Seca World Superbike Races. We sold those to raise a little over 1/2 of the funds required. I decided because we were close to go ahead and step up so we could become a classic lifetime member.

I know that we all hate tickets, but we certainly appreciate the help when we need it and I felt this was a little more tied to motorcycle riding than most charities.

Big thanks to Jeff Johnston of Pirelli USA. They have been great to our race team for years and things like this just make the relationship even more special.

Also thanks to those who bought tix. Hope you all enjoyed the show!!

No, but maybe one day a CHP officer will recognize the barf license frame and be extra polite to you.

I was reading through the booklet last night and recognized some names of donors. I also saw some of the great work they do to help the kids of CHP officers with scholarships for higher education. It also had a bit about the 85 yo history of the CHP.
