Bailing on AT&T

I"m sick of AT&T as my ISP. Anyone using Sonic.net? I doubt I can get Monkeybrains. Any insights? Any recommendations?

I'm thinking of bailing on their cellphone service.....No matter where I am or who I'm calling, there is some sort of lag between what I say and when the other person can hear it. Latency I guess is what it's called.

I've had Sprint, Cingular, AT&T, and now Verizon. I'm sticking with VZW.

I know a guy who can get Monkeybrains, have you asked them if you can get that?
BTW I hear the initial setup is expensive (from Valgar, here) or I guess expensive is relative given any benefits

I sent in a request from their website two days ago. Still waiting for a response.
The thing that intrigues me is that it doesn't use AT&T wires.
