Just talked to Dan's (Dancore) wife Abby.
Dan passed away this morning.
Can't really tell you all the details. She will let me know about when the funeral will be and will keep you up to date.

Very sad, Dan was a great guy and competitor. Kicked my ass last time we raced.

I barely got to know him and i could tell that he was a great guy and a gracious competitor. What a terrible loss. My condolences to his wife and kin. He will be missed very much. RIP Dan Caldwell

My deepest condolences to his family and other friends.

I have had the honor of knowing him, through mini racing at Stockton. Dan was well liked, the most genuine and nicest guy I have ever known. At the track, he would always lend himself to anyone whom needed help, technically, tarmac, and or otherwise.

Dan, you will surely be missed :( :rose GOD speed :angel

Deepest condolences :rip Dan. We will miss you, you always had a smile on your face and were always in a good mood and always wanted to help others. You were a great guy and a great racer. Thanks for the advice and encouragement you always gave me.
